I found a very nice and children friendly version written by Mrs Katarzyna Campbell. I liked it straight away. I decided to translate in into english and then worked my own version out of this.
It worked most of the time and I do believe I can call it my own , but there might be some similarities. So , yesterday I contacted Mrs Campbell by Email. I explained who I am and what am I doing. I also said that our poems may share some similarities so to avoid a possible future misunderstanding, I like her to give me a green light to continue. She said :

Basically it says she's happy that I got inspiration from her poem and she agrees for me to use it. What it means for me is that there are no copyrights issues now.
